Ok, let’s talk ice cream. Specifically the fact that I could eat it every day. I’m never tied to one flavor, and I’m never afraid to try unique flavors (I’m looking at you Salt & Straw).
If you live in Central Arkansas, then hopefully you’ve heard of @loblollycreamery. They have so many house-made flavors, and they keep bringing out new ones!
A local shop opened up recently and they serve Loblolly, so of course we had to check it out. @eatjusticecream started in a small storefront, but recently opened up a full size scoop shop, and we paid them a visit Monday to celebrate Sophie’s first day of school! The owners and their sons are incredibly friendly, and the environment was great. And they had our favorite thing on the menu: the ice cream flight! We can never pick one flavor, so for $11 we get eight small scoops! The kids each picked a flavor, and we picked the other six! By the end, we had all sampled the various flavors (my kids like ice cream as much as I do) and had a great time! Champagne family recommendations: Arkansas Mud, Key Lime Pie, Fresh Mint Chip.
Go to Just Ice Cream in downtown Benton as soon as you can! You won’t be disappointed!
